Mountain Kailash known as a sacred place of four religions: Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism and Bon. In fact from slopes of Kailash take beginnings 4 great rivers of India. The river Indus takes beginning on the north slope of the mountain, river of Satleg – on western, Brahmaputra – on east. The path around the mountain is 52 km and have to be done by foot to bring a good fortune. Many pilgrims each year comes to Kailash. Usually it takes 3 days to make a circle, but some people doing it in one day which is not the easiest task. Of course we like the idea of good fortune plus it is very interesting experience.
